This is an excersize in rhyming (mostly) synonyms (mostly). It's also a little excersize in switching from a less powerful emotion to a more powerful one--such as horror to terror, repulsion to revulsion, etc. This poem means nothing, don't think that I'm some psycho-depressive, please! Anyway, here we go, hope you like it. The End Is All We've Got LeftHorrors That we could come so far. Terrors That we could slide so far. Slide, slide, become so much less. Repulsions That we could lose so much. Revulsions That we could fear so much. Fear, fear, become so much less. Slide, fear, slide, fear. Look forward to a day that never comes. Fear, slide, fear, slide. Look backward to a night that never ends. Epidemic That we encourage every day. Pandemic That we spread every day. Spread, spread make us just like us. Malevolent That we hope upon others Maleficent That we act upon others Act, act, hold in no longer. Spread, act, spread, act. Perpetuate dark that we can't hold in. Act, spread, act, spread. Terminate light that we don't understand. Anxious That we don't see the future. Cowardice That we don't face the future. Face, face--turn and run. Irritation That we let grow in us. Excruciation That we let die in us. Die, die, make us turn away. Face, die, face, die. The beggining we never waited for. Die, face, die, face. The end is all we've got left.
